While Jeremy and Laura are hard at work on the virus, Aelita confides in Yumi, telling her that she feels depressed, spending most of her time sitting in front of her computer waiting for a message from her mother that may never arrive. Yumi suggests they have a girls’ day out: walk around without going anywhere, giggle like idiots, look at boys, go window-shopping and not buy anything. Aelita likes the sound of the idea and agrees to it. But on the way out of the school they run into Sissi, who decides to invite herself along on their shopping trip.
XANA launches an attack. Jeremy calls the others, but Aelita and Yumi can’t get rid of Sissi. Yumi sets off on her own while Aelita takes Sissi back into the school, telling her that they’re looking for Jeremy.
Odd, Ulrich and William run into Laura at the tunnel entrance, but it seems like something’s up. William then receives a phone call from Laura – as it turns out, she’s still at the lab. The Laura in front of them is a spectre! Ulrich and Odd escape while William tries to face the threat, but the spectre attacks William and then heads after Ulrich and Odd, leaving the no-coder lying on the ground. He makes his way to the lab instead.
Ulrich runs into Yumi in the park, but quickly realises it’s the spectre. He calls Jeremy to warn him that it’s a polymorphic spectre. When Jeremy hangs up, Yumi arrives in the lab. Jeremy is suspicious of her but Yumi sarcastically replies that yes, she’s the spectre and she came here to steal Laura, Jeremy and William’s code. Satisfied that she’s the real Yumi, they send her to Lyoko with William. Once there, they head for the tower.
At the school, Sissi isn’t pleased about Aelita leading her back through the school; she just wanted to go shopping.
On Lyoko, three Krabs stop Yumi and William on their way to the tower. Yumi smells a trap and takes a detour while William distracts the monsters. But the plan doesn’t work; the Krabs follow Yumi and William is held back by a fourth Krab that had been hiding nearby.
Ulrich arrives in the lab but Jeremy and Laura aren’t sure it’s him. They ask him a personal question and he reluctantly answers, proving his identity. He’s sent to help the others on Lyoko.
The Krab is defeated and Ulrich arrives. Yumi approaches him, surprised at how quickly he got there. He then unsheathes his sabre and devirtualises her, sparking a fight between him and William. The real Ulrich had indeed been virtualised, but XANA created a clone of him on Lyoko. William defeats it just before the real Ulrich arrives. William threatens to attack him, forcing him to prove it’s really him. Ulrich does so by insulting William.
Odd then arrives in the lab and he, too, has to answer a personal question. He gets sent to Lyoko after proving it’s him, but he arrives in the middle of a confrontation. Ulrich had to prove his identity, so why not Odd and William too?
Meanwhile, Sissi and Aelita are in Aelita’s room. Aelita is applying hairspray to a pink wig, wearing a playful smirk on her face. Sissi asks what Aelita’s plan is, but Aelita refuses to tell, saying it’ll ruin the surprise.
Yumi enters the dormitory, seeming to be looking for someone. She notices someone she recognises to be Aelita, facing away from her. It’s revealed that Yumi is the spectre when the eye of XANA appears in her eyes. The spectre approaches and grabs Aelita’s shoulder to steal her code…except it’s not Aelita, it’s Sissi wearing Aelita’s clothes and a pink wig. The spectre screams with rage and storms off down the hallway. Sissi faints.
Another Odd appears on Lyoko and insists that deactivating the tower is the only way to put an end to this chaos, but the three others are wary of this being a trap and prevent him from entering the tower. The two Odds attack each other, both claiming they’re telling the truth. Ulrich is devirtualised in the confusion. William attacks one of the Odds and thankfully, it was a clone. The other Odd and William team up to get rid of the Krabs.
Aelita and Yumi meet up in the woods, but they’re unable to tell if either of them is a spectre or not. Ulrich then arrives too. They decide to ask each other personal questions in order to prove their identities, and embarrassing secrets are revealed.
With the Krabs defeated, Odd is about to enter the tower when another Odd and another William show up. The four of them ask each other questions to find out who’s who, but it’s a long and complicated ordeal. Remembering a discussion he’d had with Odd that morning, Jeremy creates a program that makes the clones glow. The real Odd devirtualises the clones and then enters the tower.
It’s Ulrich’s turn to ask a question, and he asks Yumi, “What’s the name of your crush?” Yumi and Aelita exchange a glance and start backing away, to Ulrich’s confusion. Yumi says that the real Ulrich would never ask her that question. The eye of XANA appears in the spectre’s eyes, but just as it’s charging towards the girls, Odd deactivates the tower and a return trip is launched.
On their way into town, Aelita and Yumi run into Sissi again, who asks if she can come with them. Aelita gladly accepts and the three girls leave the school together.
Code Lyoko Evolution on YouTube (update)
Hey everyone, it's been a while!
It's been a few years since Dargaud acquired the rights to Code Lyoko and started posting the episodes for free on official YouTube channels, with several channels for various languages. The rights for Evolution still belonged to someone else so they couldn't be posted. But now the licence has gone to Dargaud as well, and they've started posting the episodes on the official Code Lyoko channels!
Because the episodes (except one) were never dubbed into English, they've decided to keep the original French versions and add English subtitles. So far the English channel is the only one to start uploading episodes,
Dargaud and Code Lyoko
Hey guys, it's been a while! Just a quick update. And it's Code Lyoko rather than Evolution, but it's worth sharing!
As plenty of people may already know, there are now official YouTube channels for Code Lyoko in various languages, where the episodes have been uploaded in decent quality for free viewing. The English channel just reached episode 95, so the whole series can now be found there. Binge away!
But that's not all... Apparently, Dargaud has created an HD version of the series! No word on when or how it will be released yet, or how they made it HD, but it will be available in English as well as French. I guess it's not huge news, but
Moonscoop bought by Dargaud
First off, new avatar! I'm a GIF fan so a change was inevitable, but I admit the change from dark blue to yellow is a little weird at first.
Oh and another group-related note, please try to submit any non-CLE works directly to the "Other Code Lyoko" folder rather than Featured, it makes it a lot easier to sort ^^'
Secondly (old news), Canal J has aired episodes 20-26 and they're available in low quality French (unfortunately not on iTunes), links to which are available on the episode journal entries. Aaand I can't seem to find any subs for them...I'm probably just looking in the wrong place. If you know any links, drop them in the comments!
Canal J picks up CLE
Looks as though Canal J is about to break the episode hiatus!
While some French people are a little miffed about not having the channel, Canal J has started to air Code Lyoko Evolution with a rather strange schedule. I'm not going to try and explain, but in short, episodes 20-26 should be aired in mid-December, starting on the 13th and ending on the 20th. Here's the TV guide if you're curious.
Yeah, 3:34am. The episode on the 14th is listed as being Rivalry for some reason, but I think that's just a mistake.
Meanwhile, France 4 continues delaying the episodes, they're up to their second rerun of episode 10 now.

Yes, I quite enjoyed this episode. I loved XANA finally getting smart with the clone use again.
