Months have passed since our heroes have destroyed XANA, the AI who menaced the world. Daily routine has resumed at Kadic. The heroes have gone up a year in school. Odd, Ulrich, Jeremie and Aelita are now in year 10…and still under the tyranny of Jim. The latter is in a computer room for a class of “cybersport.” While the teacher fights with the computer, trying to find the CD drive, he receives a violent electric discharge which propels far from the computer as the class laughs on…except for Aelita who is staring with true concern at the computer screens displaying lines of familiar code…

Code Lyoko Evolution: Character Sneak PeeksEDIT: Finally we have Odd's and Yumi's in a simultaneous update by the new official YouTube channel CLEMoonscoop (there are new CGI poses on their background too, but low quality).
Seems as though they're doing individual character videos now, of their evolution throughout the series (including Evolution this time). I'll update them here as they're released.

Code Lyoko Evolution: Ninjas and Megapod in actionWe're probably not supposed to see these yet, but these were released on France 4's site. New videos of Odd driving the Megapod, and Ninjas in action in the Cortex.
They're low-ish quality and will probably be officially released later.

Code Lyoko Evolution Episode 1 (opening sequence)We just got a video of the opening of episode 1. Not very long, but it shows us the new opening and the very start of the episode, in which some of the characters are introduced. Going with this summary, they're on their way to a computer lab for a PE class in "cybersport" which looks a little like Zumba I think.
And here is where I attempt a translation where they're talking too fast for me to pick up clearly. I apologise to any francophones for this not-very-good translation, I haven't been practising.
Jim tells the class to hurry up as they're in PE class. He tells Ulrich to speed up. Ulrich approaches the camera, smirks and walks off. Odd comes up and asks why they're having a class either on CD or in the lab (I can't quite catch what he says exactly) and I'm not sure how Jim responds. I think Jeremie questions the use of computers in PE, and Jim says that's very funny

The Actors Want to Pass a Message to YouThese have been the banner images on CL.fr for a while now but I decided not to post them until they were almost finished. Just a word of thanks from each actor, recorded duinr the advance screening by CL.fr staff. They did up the banners in French, I just translated and rewrote the text (with a slightly more legible font too).

Léonie wasn't at the advance screening and I'm not sure if Bastien (Jim) left a message. If they update with their banners then I'll post them here later, but for now I'm not sure if they exist.

Kadic welcomes a new student to its ranks; Laura Gauthier. Blonde and charming, she proves to be a bright student in front of her teacher during first period. While Jeremie’s fatigue stops him from completing the equation on the board, Laura takes his place and finishes the difficult equation with vigour.
The new student is noticed by the group of heroes. Grumpy about his failure, Jeremie sulks while Odd and Ulrich rub it in. It is however Aelita who frowns while Laura reappears and seems to take an interest in Jeremie.

Code Lyoko Evolution Release DateEDIT 2: The scans of the magazine we got the synopsis from are now available on codelyoko.fr; 1, 2, 3, 4, in French of course. Nothing much new. The character profiles on pages 2 and 3 are on France4's site, or translated by me (because Google sucks) here. The fourth page is just an advertisement for the Facebook game. Page 1 has the synopsis we already have with a summary of the series so far, so it's not worth translating.

First look at Code Lyoko EvolutionAccording to Code Lyoko's Facebook they're going to be unveiling the 'first look' at CLE tomorrow at 10am PST (6pm in France, 3am in Sydney (dammit)) . This could be the poster we found before with the actors' faces, and I certainly hope it isn't, but until tomorrow I can't be sure. Stay tuned!

Oh yeah, it's a video! Shows some scanner scenes, lift scenes, CG...lookin pretty great in my opinion but there are a few complaints in the comments. No faces though, and a lot of frowning going on with the CG.

Code Lyoko Evolution: News Recap 26/10/2012I've been getting a few questions and such recently about things already in here, so I've decided to do a recap now and then of what we know so far, just to keep everything organised c: There will be a lot of repetition, and some updates on previous observations.
So far we can confirm that:

The show will be a combination of live action and CGI

It will be in French (not English, French)

Filmed in the Angoulême region of France, taking place around August

Production will be done by Antefilms and Norimage, a live action company

The casting call has now finished and actors for the seven main characters (includes William) have been found

Moonscoop has updated the official site with a new theme, logo and everything

The season will be released either late this year or early next

An English version will be released next year, though we're

Code Lyoko Evolution: New Video!EDIT: The video has now been made private, and I'm sorry about that but I can't do anything about it. Nothing was shown aside from sets, so you aren't missing out on seeing the actors or anything.
BUT a new article was just released, revealing that Quentin Merabet, who we thought to be William, is actually Ulrich's actor. And the person who we thought was Ulrich, Diego Mestanza, is actually William. Here's our list of known actors now:

Code Lyoko Evolution: William's actor?There's reason to believe that William's actor will be Quentin Merabet, for a number of reasons including his Twitter, Facebook and page with his acting agency. He's 21, but still looks like he could be William. And we saw in the casting video his hair was cut shorter, so there's no need to freak out about that.
No official word from articles or Moonscoop yet, but it's looking pretty likely.
EDIT: Turns out this is Ulrich's actor, haha.

I think there are also some pictures out of the gang behind the scenes, but I haven't yet found the source so they're all spread over the place. But here's a Yumi-less group photo for now!

Codelyoko.fr has made a page on the actors with high-quality photos and correct names. Now we know the blonde's name is Laura, and she's a completely new character.

Jeremie has been working long hours. Aelita visits him and insistently asks him when he's going to finish the updates on the Megapod to allow them to return to the Cortex and find information. Belpois tells her that the time has come; the new version of the Megapod is complete.
Outside, Yumi is upset. Japan was hit by a violent storm. Her cousin's school burnt down. Realising that fighting in the virtual world wouldn't do anything about it, she decides to try to make a difference. Giving up her place for the trip to the Cortex, she decides to stay to organise a party to raise funds for Japan. She gets Mr Delmas' permission, but the only available slot is that evening, so she has to work fast.

Aelita constantly uses false last names. In the two final episodes of season 1, she enrolled at Kadic under the name Lyoko, which had been thought up by Yumi when she asked her parents if they would allow her "pen pal" to stay over. EDIT: Remember a while back there was a video showing how they do the CGI construction of the factory, school and lab but it got removed? Well it's back, and in its best quality. There's a little bit that was repeated with commentary in Studio 3D part 2, but I'm pretty sure the holomap stuff is completely new. Check it out below.

New SUBBED video, in two parts with an explanation on how they do the 3D animation.

Oh, and a new photo with new CGI poses.

In the original CL the holomap wasn't interactive... It was just a normal hologram, an image.
